Abstract A method based on the contour coefficient and image processing technology is proposed to better identify visual elements. This article takes of as recognition feature, summarizes methods target feature extraction, shape representation, similarity studies edge preserving denoising, simplification description methods, matching methods. problem can usually be solved by filling out a form. Generally, simple iterative equation given express direct relationship between current table calculated values. The dynamic programming algorithm inner distance context, multi-scale convexity convexity, triangle area representation finds best sequence correspondence.
